Cricket may not be Malaysia's number one sport like badminton or football, but ask sports fans within the country's Asian communities and many will tell you they follow cricket passionately – especially when India is playing. Since the IPL gained widespread viewership and the T20 World Cup became more frequent, interest in cricket across Malaysia has continued to grow. And at mtown88, we are here to make sure you can enjoy all that excitement while having every chance to walk away with solid winnings.
The mtown88 cricket betting platform is built specifically for Malaysian sports fans who want a simple, secure, and rewarding betting experience. Whether you're a newcomer just getting into cricket, or a veteran who's followed every IPL season for years – mtown88 has something for everyone.
If there is one cricket tournament that captivates sports fans across Malaysia more than any other, it is the Indian Premier League – the IPL. Every season from March to May, cricket venues across India come alive with electrifying T20 action, and the excitement is felt throughout Asia. World-class players from every corner of the globe join India's finest to compete in the most explosive and entertaining format the sport has to offer.
At mtown88, we provide full IPL coverage with over 200 different bet types for every match. From a straightforward match winner to specifics like the first player to reach 50 runs, number of wickets in the powerplay, or the highest-scoring over — it's all here. Our IPL odds are among the most competitive in Malaysia, ensuring you get the best value for every ringgit you wager.
Best of all, mtown88 offers Live In-Play Betting for all IPL matches. This means you can watch the game live and make betting decisions based on what's actually happening on the field. If you see the key batsman walk back to the pavilion and the team starting to wobble, you can capitalise on that moment with a live bet. Or if a bowler is in red-hot form and taking wickets in quick succession, that's another opportunity you can jump on.
Cricket comes in three main formats, and mtown88 supports betting on all of them. Each format has its own dynamics and offers a unique set of betting opportunities:
For Malaysian players just getting into cricket betting, T20 is the ideal starting point. Shorter matches mean you don't have to wait long to see how your bets pan out, and the fast-paced nature of the format makes it far easier to follow than Test Match cricket, which demands a deeper understanding of tactics.
One of the key advantages of the cricket mtown88 is the sheer variety of bet types on offer. You're not limited to just picking a winner – there's a wide range of options to explore based on your knowledge and strategy:

What They're Saying
"I've followed the IPL every season since 2012 and only started betting on mtown88 last year. The difference from other platforms is clear – better odds, super smooth live betting, and withdrawals to TNG in just 8 minutes. Won over RM6,000 this IPL season."
"Live betting on mtown88 cricket is brilliant. During the India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup match, I placed a live bet after seeing India start slowly — got higher odds on India as a result. India ended up winning comfortably and I turned RM400 into RM2,800."
"I prefer betting on Test Matches because there's more time for analysis. The stats on the mtown88 platform are incredibly useful — you can check head-to-head records, pitch history, and player form. Once caught a draw bet on England vs Australia at odds of 3.10, and it came through perfectly."
